About Eric

I am a Pathwork Helper, a Somatic Experiencing Practioner, and a Holistic Health Practitioner. I have extensive training in trauma healing, Pathwork, massage and somatic psychology, as well as in psychological and spiritual counseling. Primarily, my work focuses around supporting clients in healing trauma using principles found in the work of Somatic Experiencing, developed by Peter Levine, as well as the work and practices found in Pathwork, which is a blend of psychology an spiritualiy. My sessions may include counseling, bodywork, awareness practice and meditation, inquiry, dialogue, dream work, exploration of spiritual, physical, emotional or relationship issues.
I offer a Body Centered approach to healing trauma and to discovering your Authentic Self: who you truly are beyond  your symptoms, thoughts, emotions and expectations. Utilizing conversation or gentle touch we will together discover your unique gifts and strengths, and gently uncover and heal the parts of your body, mind and spirit that have been challenged in the past or present.

I am also on staff as a volunteer in the Integrative Oncology program at the San Diego Cancer Center. This is an amazing, cutting edge program that utilizes all of the current Traditional Western medical treatments, and augments it with free sessions from a select group of complementary practitioners of acupuncture, massage, Reiki, Somatic Experiencing, hypnosis, yoga, nutrition, biofeedback.

 • Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) with focus in Integrative Somatics from IPSB in San Diego.

 • Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) from the Foundation for Human Enrichment, a 3 year training with Peter Levine.

 •  Pathwork Helper, an 8 year training in Psycho-spiritual development and shadow work.
 • Internships in Rolfing, Integrative Somatics, Relational Somatics, Tui Na

 • Extensive training in Oriental Medicine, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Pre and Perinatal Psychology, Anatomy and Physiology

 • Certified Yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance, teacher trainings with Ana Forrest and Core Power Yoga.

 • Extensive training in Shamanism
